Giving a medication requires thorough knowledge of standards, practices, protocols, and procedures. This module will review several standard routes and practices that are followed in the pre-hospital EMS setting.

• Review the Rights of Medication Administration
• Analyze the benefits of intramuscular (IM) administration compared to the subcutaneous (SQ) route
• Critique the delivery of medication with a nasal atomizer to other routes of administration.
